CursorHop Privacy Policy

Effective July 29, 2026

CursorHop is a macOS utility for moving the pointer and managing multi-display workflows. Cursor movement and display layout processing happen locally on your Mac.

Data CursorHop does not collect

The CursorHop app does not:

Purchases

Mac App Store subscriptions are processed by Apple. Apple may process purchase and account information under Apple's own privacy policy. CursorHop receives only the subscription status needed to enable Pro features.

Purchases for the separately distributed Direct build are processed by Lemon Squeezy.

Optional CursorHop Account

An account is not required to use the Mac App Store build or purchase CursorHop Pro. If you choose to bind an account or use the Direct build, CursorHop's entitlement service stores your email address, account identifiers, subscription status, and the minimum device-session data needed to authorize Pro and prevent duplicate purchases.

The service does not receive window contents, keystrokes, files, screenshots, clipboard contents, or cursor trajectories.

macOS permissions

The Mac App Store build does not require Accessibility permission for cursor jumping, App Finder, or its native window shortcut guide. The separately distributed Direct build may request Accessibility only when you choose features that need to activate, focus, or move a window. Those actions are performed locally.

Retention and deletion

Optional account and entitlement records are retained only while needed to provide the service, resolve purchases, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. You may request access to or deletion of optional account data by contacting us.

Children

CursorHop is a general productivity utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version and effective date will be published on this page.
